The Kelway Hotel

The location is excellent, and the staff are what make a stay here pleasant. They were genuinely good, and the kitchen made a real effort to accommodate us since we don't eat beef or pork, which we appreciated. The hotel itself feels very dated and needs serious neatening up. Many furnishings are poorly maintained and make the place feel tired. The lift only goes to the first floor, so you have to walk the rest of the levels. That's not ideal, especially for elderly guests wanting a stress-free holiday. Overall, the stay was average.

The rooms are beautiful, and the place, staff and food are amazing. I love it 😍👌. Just one small thing, please take out the old, dirty carpets on the stairs. They don't look attractive there or give the beautiful Kelway that glitz and glam.

06 Feb 3026. After several years away, a group of us had dinner at the Kelway. The kitchen was busy, the staff were friendly, and the steaks were perfectly prepared. It's a pity the carpet on the stairs is so grubby, as a reviewer had already mentioned a month ago.

The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable, with a great view, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. I enjoyed the delicious food in the mornings and evenings, and the location was convenient for major attractions. The downside is the carpets throughout the place, which could be cleaned and maintained. There are stairs to the different floors and no elevators. Overall, a good, comfortable stay.
