I especially liked relaxing on the private patio and braai area under the Karoo sky. The cottage was spotless and beautifully furnished, balancing historic charm with modern comfort. It’s in a leafy, peaceful spot close to shops and restaurants. Check-in was easy, and communication from the host was excellent. A stylish, quiet, well-equipped place to stay. Highly recommended!

The cottages are spacious and beautifully furnished, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Check-in and check-out were easy. I’ve given the rooms four stars because Cottage 3 had a mold problem in both the bedroom and bathroom, which concerned me since I suffer from allergies.

Cottage 2 at River Bend Cottages was spacious, very comfortable, and spotless, with not a speck anywhere. The bed was comfy, the shower lovely, and the aircon cooled the bedroom. Restaurants and coffee shops are a pleasant walk away, and the village is beautiful. My one-night stopover turned into a bit of magic, and the stay surpassed every expectation. I highly recommend River Bend Cottages to anyone stopping over in Graaf-Rienet.

On our way to the North, we stopped here and found it a lovely place to stay. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the private, secure parking was right at our back door. It was quiet and peaceful, and the service was good. Check-in and leaving were both very easy.

A lovely place, warm and spotless, with a genuinely helpful host. Each cottage has its own braai, and there’s secure off-street parking. For coffee and the town’s buzz, turn left out the front door; turn right and you can head onto the nature trail. Five stars from me.
