First Group Magalies Park

There’s plenty to keep everyone busy at Magalies Park, and our highlight was eating at Pica Pau restaurant. The meals were delicious, the service was great, and the resort staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The chalets were clean and comfortable, and the grounds were beautifully maintained, making them lovely to walk around. We felt completely safe the whole stay. Magalies Park never disappoints, and I’d highly recommend it for a stress-free getaway!

The restaurant was good, and everyone serving us was friendly. The kids especially loved the waterpark, and there were plenty of other pools too, including heated and cold ones. A great spot for a weekend away.

We only stayed for the weekend, but the extra charges made it feel like a really poor deal. Room cleaning, fresh bath towels, and access to activities and facilities all cost extra, and the rooms were dirty. We also got terrible service from sarcastic young staff. I felt scammed by all the add-ons. For the same price, there are better, cleaner resorts nearby that are actually all-inclusive.

The one disappointment was that the dam cruises were cancelled because of the hyacinth. Otherwise, our midweek break in a one-bedroom chalet gave us a chance to unwind after a hectic start to the year. We booked using our points, and check-in was quick, without the usual timeshare guilt trips. The staff were friendly, efficient, and relaxed, and the well-kept chalet had the comforts of home. I even got in a round of golf on the beautiful course for a reasonable price. I'd happily encourage people to choose this as a destination.
