The location is perfect for the Kruger and the Blyde Canyon River. The view is impressive, the accommodation was perfect, and the staff were charming. Don't hesitate to eat there in the evening, the chef is wonderful and the food quality is high. We had two wonderful evenings. Magical! Cedric, Valentine, Augustin, Marceau & Tristan (Belgium)

The location is superb, with lovely gardens and great views east and west over the valley. We stayed four nights after Christmas. The rooms were comfortable, and the beds had mosquito nets. Breakfast was included, and the staff were amazing, friendly and gave excellent service.

What warm hospitality, such a lovely welcome. The staff were very good, the food was delicious, and the manager was fantastic and kind. The owners were kind too, and you can tell they love sharing their place. We were sad to leave. Go there!

We loved watching the sunsets with a cold drink, one of the highlights of the property. Joane also suggested a local safari company and helped us organize our stay. The two days we spent on safari with “Elephant Herd” were unforgettable, a once-in-a-lifetime experience with wildlife, expert guides and stunning landscapes. At Ashbourne Country Escape, the rooms were spacious and clean, just right for unwinding after a day of safari. All three dinners we had were outstanding, delicious and beautifully presented. From the start, the calm atmosphere and personal welcome from our host, Joane, and owner, Rob, made us feel at home. Their warm hospitality made the stay special. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, personal experience.

The mountain top setting gives this gorgeous accommodation stunning views. The rooms are simple and modern, and the food was incredible. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. What an amazing place to stay, I'd highly recommend it.
