Most things were superb, and I’d recommend the place and come back. A few pieces of patio furniture were broken, though.

The lodge is in a handy spot with a mall nearby. There’s plenty to do, including golf, wildlife, three swimming pools and mini golf. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant, and I recommend the smoked salmon salad. The restaurant team were just as friendly as the helpful, professional staff who welcomed us at the gate.

We were told to leave the swimming pool because we are black, after white guests complained that we were making noise and disturbing their swim. Once we had left, those guests asked for the pool to be cleaned before they used it. We also couldn't play loud music in our chalet. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to any Black person looking to enjoy a vacation.

I couldn't play music. I'm black and was out to have a good time, but this seems like a place for more mature souls, not for someone wanting to paint the town their color.
