Tammy, the adorable dog, won me over straight away. Breaview is a lovely, peaceful place in a great spot for a relaxing break, and Oom Fanie and Tannie Erina made me feel at home from the minute I arrived. They’re warm, attentive people. I was there for only a couple of days, but I’ll remember it fondly. Thank you again for everything. Highly recommend Breaview if you’re after comfort and kindness in Hermanus! Aj,Andrea and kids

The owners are generous, and that adds to the homely feel of this elegant, comfortable rock cottage. Braeview guest lodge really did feel like a home away from home. I’d recommend it for couples or families with children.

There’s an oven, microwave and fridge in the room, so you can make your own meals if you’re trying to save money. The beds were excellent too. The rooms are cosy and clean, in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, and the owners are friendly and happy to chat. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The gated garden was a lovely spot to enjoy the weather, and there’s room for kids to play. The place itself is clean and spacious, with the super-friendly owners living on the second level. It’s a five-minute walk to the View Point, and under ten minutes by car to the old harbour with its many bistro options. I enjoyed my stay, thank you!
