The room at Naturzustand was spacious and clean, and the place is quite central, with the main square, shops and beach within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious and well organized, with nice staff looking after the place. We had a great time there, and I'd highly recommend nautilus cottage if you're looking for budget-friendly accommodation in Hermanus.

The poached eggs at breakfast were the best ever, and the whole meal was another awesome experience. We found this a safe, secure place for a whale-watching weekend. Our room was clean and homely, with a freestanding bath in the en-suite bathroom so big we could have had a bubble-bath party in it. Staff were friendly, enthusiastic and professional. A 10 out of 10 from us!

Our room had exquisite coastline views, and the place felt like a home away from home. There’s a good library and a shared lounge with stunning views, and breakfast was great. Little private plunge pools are dotted around, plus there's a large pool if you prefer a communal area.
