Villa Blu

We slept well here; the area is conveniently quiet at night. It’s a cozy place, and the house has a lived-in feel that made it especially nice. Grotto Beach is walkable, and breakfast was excellent. Would recommend!

The bright rooms have nearly every detail thought through, the hostess is attentive, and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was marvelous, too. It’s not right in the city centre, but the wonderful grotton beach is only a few minutes’ walk away. For the money, I can only recommend this B&B.

We enjoyed reading in the garden, and the clean pool was nice for a quick swim. Baboons were nearby, so we were told to keep doors and windows closed, but we had no incidents at the villa. George is a wonderful person and makes sure everyone gets a perfect breakfast. The place is a little outside oh Hermanus, so you need to drive into town. We’d love to come back one day.

A week before our stay, I was left scrambling for somewhere else to stay after this accommodation made us cancel our booking, even though we’d paid in full. It was clearly their fault. I contacted them multiple times and got no reply. Pathetic.
