The owner made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and you can tell they really care about guests. For the price, this was our best guest house stay. It worked really well for our family with children: the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the place is close to town. We had fun playing pool together. There’s an indoor braai for rainy days and an outdoor one when the weather’s sunny. We had a great time and would definitely return in the near future.

This lovely house had everything our family needed for a wonderful weekend away. It felt like a little gem and was worth every cent. We enjoyed it so much that weekends at Whalers are going to become a family tradition!

There was nobody on site, just a phone number to call. I had to ring it over and over before an extremely impolite lady, probably the owner, answered. Not a nice experience at all.

The place felt very homely and was neat and tidy. The owner was so friendly, and I loved staying there. It’s close enough to walk to the beachfront.

They were very welcoming, though our booking was wrong. That wasn't their fault. The roof leaked and soaked some of our clothes, which really wasn't great.
