The thatched room stayed lovely and cool, and I enjoyed the full English breakfast. It was a friendly, pleasant B&B, though there were a few small issues: the bedside lamps weren't working. I rewired one, but the bulb in the other had blown. The toilet also made odd noises while refilling.

For a one-night stopover, the price was affordable, and the place was clean with a friendly host. The only downside was the sleeping setup: the four of us had to share one room, so there was no privacy and I couldn't sleep next to my husband.

The bed and pillow were really comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Everything felt clean and inviting, and the hostess was so helpful and welcoming.

The owner was one of the kindest I've ever met. It's a great place, with rooms that are cosy but simple.

I stayed the night before heading up Sani Pass the next morning.
