Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge

With our one-year-old along, the staff made everything easy, even packing us pad kos when we had to check out very early. The game drives were beautiful, and we felt lucky to share the park and its animals with our baby. Great location and rooms, lovely food, and above all, such kind staff. We can’t wait to come back. We got to watch elephants, giraffes, and zebras pass in the distance during our couples massage. It felt surreal, and we won’t forget it. That moment was one of many highlights from three nights and four days at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge, with six game drives, each one better than the last. Every outing brought something different. We saw large cats, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, loads of birds, and plenty more. Our guide made the drives both exciting and informative. Between activities, the clean, comfortable rooms were a lovely place to unwind. The meals were delicious and thoughtfully put together, and the drinks were just as good, from cocktails to warm drinks. But it was the people who made the lodge feel so welcoming. Everyone we met was kind and attentive, and we felt cared for from arrival right through to leaving. It was a once-in-a-lifetime stay, and the lodge went beyond what we expected. We’d love to return someday and would happily recommend it.

The safari was more than I could have dreamed of, and completing a walking safari felt incredible. The food was exciting too, with flavours that really made your taste buds dance. From my first enquiry, through booking and the stay at the lodge, they made every effort to give us exceptional service. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. I’d tell anyone to book a stay here and experience a dream in real life.

The lodge and its beautiful surroundings made our stay unforgettable, but it was the team’s care that really set Rhino Ridge apart. Everyone seemed genuinely passionate about their work, and their attention to detail made us feel that they wanted our experience to be special. From the minute I arrived, the welcome felt warm and sincere. The staff were consistently friendly and ready to help, whether we had a last-minute request, a personal preference, or just needed someone to check that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, and they handled everything with a smile.
