The garden is simple, but you can sit there and watch all kinds of small game in the bush. Inside, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the verandah is lovely. Breakfast is fit for a king, made personally and with care. Everyone is so friendly, it feels like home, only better. Thank you, Clio. We keep coming back!

We had such a lovely stay and will definitely return. Even though we booked at the last minute, they were so accommodating, and made the evening wonderful. The rooms are neat and clean, and wildlife passes by while you sit on the patio. I'd recommend Hat Brooke Lodge any day!

A peaceful place to stop near Hoedspruit town. I'd recommend it to anyone travelling through this part of the world.

It was awful. The coffee ingredients were expired, and the place felt like a prison. Visitors weren't allowed. Terrible!

Tannie Ansopgie and Uncle Kleo made us feel like family. I'd recommend this place a thousand times over.
