Klaserie River Safari Lodge

Saying goodbye to the managers felt like leaving friends behind. The staff and service were great, and the views made for a really relaxing bush break. I’d recommend it, and we’ll definitely stay again.

We got to experience the safari, and the river-facing chalets were spacious and lovely. Thanks to Evance for looking after us at the lodge and taking us on a three-hour game drive.

We’ve just finished a four-night stay and were really impressed. The accommodation was lovely, and the staff were attentive. The guides did everything they could to help us see as many animals as possible on the drives.

We’d never been to the African continent before and weren’t sure what to expect. From the shuttle driver to the MD, everyone was friendly and attentive, and we were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived. The food was very good, with themed evenings featuring local “Produce”. Our lodging was fantastic, right beside the Klasarie River. At night, the wildlife sounds were AMAZING. The grounds are vast, but do be careful if you walk around by yourselves, since wildlife shares the area. A Leopard has reportedly been seen wandering through the game from time to time. They offer free game drives in a neighbouring private game reserve. After seeing various animals, we sipped Local Castle Beers while watching the SUN Set over the suvanna. AMAZINGBALLS
