Enniskerry Self-Catering

I’ve had to rely on Rosemarie twice after difficult mishaps in my life, most recently when I broke my shoulder. She’s always warm and helpful, and goes out of her way for me even when it’s inconvenient. Her place is spotless, the bedding immaculate, and the rooms spacious and well designed. There’s parking too. I can imagine town people coming here to destress in the Midlands. If that sounds like what you need, I definitely recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

This quiet self-catering place is good value if you want a break from city lights and noise. It’s in a great spot along the R103, close to several restaurants, Piggly Wiggly on the Midlands Meander, and plenty of other sights worth seeing.

I love staying here and have recommended it many times to anyone after an easy country break from busy suburban life. The self-catering lodge is right on the meander, and the rooms are very well kept and serviced. The sheets are better than mine at home! As animal lovers, my partner and I loved being greeted by the friendly dog each morning. There’s a fence for anyone less keen on dogs. It takes a little figuring out to get the shower temperature right, but once you do, it’s perfect. Can’t wait for my next visit!

An easygoing, lekker spot and a perfect base for exploring the area. Rosemary was a fantastic hostess, lovely to chat with, and made sure we felt right at home.
