Dulini River Lodge

Wildlife strolls past the lodge on the river, so there are memorable moments even when you’re not out on a drive. The suites are spacious and beautifully designed, with private plunge pools, indoor and outdoor showers, and glass-fronted river views. It feels luxurious while still connected to nature. The lodge itself has an open-plan, shabby-chic style that blends into the bush. Game viewing in Sabi Sands was exceptional and handled with great respect for the animals. There was no crowding or chasing, just careful encounters. The wildlife seemed relaxed around the vehicles, which made each sighting feel more special and authentic. The staff and rangers were warm, knowledgeable and passionate, and the delicious food came in generous portions with plenty of variety. Every meal was something to look forward to.

Our first safari at Dulini River Lodge was unforgettable. The food, accommodation and game viewing were all wonderful, especially with Patrick and May. What really stayed with us, though, was how personal the staff made the trip feel. By the end, we felt like we knew them all so well. They even surprised us one night with a romantic dinner set up in our room for our honeymoon. I felt so grateful for the experience, and cried as we drove away.

We came with family, and every one of us had an outstanding time at Dulini River Lodge. It’s a wonderful mix of luxury, comfort and an authentic safari. We’ll be talking about this trip for years, and highly recommend it. From start to finish, we had the best safari experience of our lives. The food, service, beautiful rooms, welcoming team and game drives were all exceptional. A special thank you to Brendan and Observe, our guide and tracker. Their knowledge, skill and passion made every moment in the bush feel magical. We saw breathtaking animal encounters and learned so much from them. They’re a world-class team.

The animal knowledge Chris and Kevin shared on our drives was unbelievable. We always felt safe and were lucky to see almost everything, including lions and cubs, giraffes, rhinos, elephants, zebras, leopards, hippos and crocs. We were in the best hands with Chris and Kevin as our spotter and driver. I’m sure the other teams are incredible too if they’re anything like Kev and Chris. The food was AMAZING, every meal had us drooling. The staff made us feel at home and part of the Dulini family, going above and beyond and making everything so easy. The rooms, service and attention to detail were all wonderful. Dulini River Lodge was a magical, beautiful stay and a must for Kruger. Thank you for giving us an African experience we’ll never forget. We’re already planning another trip, with Dullini at the top of our list. I miss the staff already! Ellie & Jamie ❤️
