The host was very friendly, but the bed linen cleanliness left a big question mark. It was incredibly noisy, with people moving around the house all night. You could hear everything, including trips back and forth to the bathroom. Between feeling itchy and the noise, I couldn’t sleep. I wouldn’t do that again.

One of the worst backpackers I’ve stayed at. It needs a serious upgrade. The mattresses are so worn there’s almost nothing left to them, and the private room curtains are torn and dirty. The carpets smell old and need to be ripped out. I didn’t enjoy it at all and would never stay there again.

The manager who works and lives there, Marlon or max, is a drug addict and is always smoking dagga. He keeps trying to get women's attention and causes trouble. He even tried to sell me some canabis. It’s disgraceful. He should be fired, but the owner knows him well, so he gets away with it all the time.

A nice splash pool, an entertainment area, and a separate braai room make it easy to relax here. The place is clean, the ablutions and kitchen are well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It feels like a home away from home.
