Lazy Days Apartments - Jeffreys Bay

We stayed for two months on a business trip, and the outside area was filthy. I asked the owner to clean it, including the braai area, several times, but was ignored. It needs a pressure wash. The kitchen wasn’t fully equipped and felt more like a camp kitchen, though the crockery was new and there was plenty of it. There’s no safe parking on site, so we had to share the street with others who brought bikes and cars over on weekends. The road outside was noisy day and night. There’s also a storeroom in the house that they want to use at inconvenient times, even when you’re sick. The host was extremely arrogant and rude. He expected guests to clean old dirt and replace light bulbs. I tried to sort things out, but the conversations became very unpleasant. We were threatened, though that didn’t scare us. The place wasn’t as advertised. I’ve worked in hospitality for 30 years and have never experienced this, or treated guests the way he and his staff treated us. I’m a very reasonable person, but this guy would just carry on. Melody, the maid, was brilliant.
