Mr Pell's House

The place was tidy, clean and well organized, and the pricing was good. It's very close to entertainment hotspots, too. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The showers barely worked. Hot water would come on and then stop, and we couldn't shower that night. The same happened in the morning, so we left without showering. Zoli kept saying they were busy and expecting a big group, and that we should be out by 9:45. I hadn't even showered or eaten. She also told me to remove all the linen we'd used, as though that wasn't her job. Before all that, we'd waited five minutes at the gate with nobody opening it, then had to call again. I'll never come back.

I travelled alone, but Sully and the staff made me feel welcome, like part of their family. The rooms were clean and just right to use. I loved my time here, it was amazing. Couldn't recommend it more!

I didn't stay long, but what I saw seemed okay for the price. They apparently say it sleeps 50 guests 🙄. Given the size of the building, I think that would mean compromises everywhere. The lounge barely fits 15, and even six people make the kitchen crowded. As for showers, I'd expect the hot water to run out after about 10 guests. I could go on, but it just doesn't seem possible to accommodate 50 people there.
