City Lodge Hotel Eastgate

It's a hotel stay with a homely feel, since you get a small flatlet instead of just a room. Ours had a porch or balcony, an open-plan kitchen and living area with a smart TV, and a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, shower, bath, and another smart TV. The kitchen has a kettle, microwave, and bar fridge, enough to keep you going, or you can eat at the hotel. There's also a gym and swimming pool on site.

A great stay, thanks. The service and food were good, and the location is close to OR Tambo Int. It would be nice to have bottled water in the room 😊

The breakfast was a great start to the day, with lots of options. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a coffee machine and plenty of pods, plus a roomy shower and aircon that kept it comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I had an excellent stay and will definitely return.

The gardens are beautiful, the pool sparkles, and the whole place feels private. There's a gym too, and the birdlife outside the fenced hotel is fantastic. It was so interesting watching all the different species share the huge space. The area is quiet, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was awesome, and lunch and dinner were great depending on what you ordered from the menu. My daughter and I enjoyed our six-night stay. Well done.
