Queens Place Guest House

Queens Place was home to us for four months, so checking out felt hard. The team made us feel part of the place from check-in right through to leaving, and really did everything they could to make us feel at home. They care about creating a warm, peaceful, tidy, safe and friendly environment, and their service was amazing. The staff were welcoming, security was very tight, and the food was good. Our room was clean and well looked after, with fresh, beautiful bedding and daily housekeeping. They offer Queens Bed &Breakfast, Queens Guesthouse and Queens Apartments, and the amenities were out of this world. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home. The five-star rating doesn’t do the real experience justice. I sometimes struggle to find the right words to describe our stay. I hope their business grows so they can welcome more people and give them that therapeutic experience. I wish other places in the industry could learn their secret. To management and the whole team, thank you for showing what hospitality means. You really are the best! I love the place and will visit soon.

Need a last-minute place to stay in Johannesburg’s Kensington area? Queens place is on Queen street, which is busy with shops, restaurants and bars. It’s a tidy, secure choice for either a short or longer stay.

It all looks great inside and out, but they never answer the phone. How am I supposed to quickly confirm a few things?

Had a good time, and the people were really helpful.
