Jozini Tiger Lodge by Dream Resorts

I really loved the place and its surroundings. I was there from the 08th to 14th February, my room was always clean, the staff were welcoming, and the food was lovely. The problem was with the manager, Riquel, who didn’t handle a guest complaint well. We were there for work and needed lunch packs because we worked far away. The food kept spoiling in the hot car boots, and there were no fridges where we were working. We suggested some alternatives, but she wouldn’t consider them. In the end we either stopped taking the lunch packs or took them only to give them away, since keeping them in the car meant throwing them out later. 😭😭😭😭 I also saw something very upsetting: the waitresses spoke to each other disrespectfully in front of us guests. That’s wrong. I hope these issues can be dealt with ASAP. Even so, I really loved the place.

The peaceful setting over Jozini Dam, with sweeping views at sunrise and sunset, made this feel like a real break from everyday life. My room was spacious, well equipped, and beautifully kept, with a comfortable, luxurious feel. From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making the stay comfortable and memorable.

The setting feels romantic and the view is awesome. The staff are super friendly, but the hotel could use an update and better maintenance. There also need to be more meal choices and things to do, like water sports.

The access road is pretty rough, so a sturdy vehicle would make getting there easier. Inside, the rooms were very clean and had amazing views, and the location is lovely for a scenic getaway. The housekeeping team clearly works hard and does a great job with the resources available, though their workload seems heavy. More staff could help with room turnover and support the team. It was a wonderful stay, and with extra hands and some work on the road, the lodge could be an unrivaled destination.
