The breakfast was delicious, and the manager Eldine bakes fresh bread and cakes every day. They’re as sweet as she is. She’s so kind and welcoming, and her service was exceptional. I travel a lot, but this peaceful place felt like home away from home. The room was beautiful and the garden space was quiet. After leaving home for work in another province, this is exactly the kind of calm I want to wake up to. I’ve tried lots of other places in Kathu and will always choose this one. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. I’ll keep singing its praises and recommending it, though I hope there’ll still be a room for me when I come back!

Eldine is professional and has a great work ethic. She brings wonderful energy to Kathu Grand and is definitely an asset to the company. I’m not sure what weight this rating carries or whether it counts toward anything, but I wanted to give her a huge thank you.

After a week roughing it on the Namakwa Eco Trail, The Grand Kathu felt like an oasis. The rooms had everything we needed and even smelled like a European hotel. Modern, comfortable, and close to everything, with Mr D delivering too. Breakfast was included and amazing. Exactly what we needed. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone travelling in that part of the world. 11/10!

Eldine was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and I had a wonderful stay at The Kathu Grand. It’s a comfortable, convenient choice for a business trip. The rest was perfect, though they could take a look at the Wifi Mesh system.
