Aerotropolis Guest Lodge

My bed was comfortable, but after this stay I won’t book here again, even though I almost did for an upcoming trip. The power went out at night and was still off in the morning. When I called, the driver wasn’t sure what was happening and said the solar was making a noise. There was no electricity and only cold water, so I asked where I could shower. The guy said I could use a room just for showering. It turned out to be a full room with a bed and TV. I’d asked to change rooms the night before because a baby was crying next door and the walls were so thin I could hear everything. They told me there were no spare rooms, so I couldn’t help wondering if he’d lied about that. The water in the room I used was barely lukewarm, but I showered because I had to leave. Then I spotted a slug in the shower. My phone was down to 4%, so I asked them to charge it. I also asked the receptionist to call me so we could agree exactly where to meet, but he said he had no airtime and that I should call him. Why should I? I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. Wish I’d read the reviews first. Don’t book unless you want to sit in the dark, showering in cold water.

The worst stay ever. The showers were cold, and there was nobody at reception when I called to complain. A guy said he’d come check, but never showed up. Breakfast was boring too, with watered-down juice and bad coffee.

It was the middle of winter, but my room had neither an extra blanket nor a heater. When I asked for either, they said they didn’t have one. I didn’t sleep at all. I wouldn’t wish that experience on my worst enemy. It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

The shuttle is a bonus, the location is perfect, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help if I needed anything specific. My room was clean and neat, and the food was great. It’s an amazing place! The only little issue was that the bathroom door paint could use a touch-up. Other than that, it was amazing.
