A good budget choice near OR Tambo if you need 1-star accommodation. It’s best for 1-2 people and has a clean, neat room with a decent bed for a good night’s rest. There’s a bathroom with a sink, toilet and bathtub with a shower, plus towels and parking. Security is good, and the service was very friendly.

The rooms and guest lounge felt so unique, with artwork and furniture that had clearly been chosen with care. The hosts put a lot of thought into making the place beautifully decorated, luxurious and comfortable. Even the sherry for a nightcap was a nice touch. It was a lovely place to stay.

African dreams feels like a mix of hotel comforts and being at home, even when you’re away from home. The hospitality is immeasurable, and the staff pay attention to the little details of what guests need and want. I dine with african dreams, and the guests always have a free, glowing expression. It’s a home away from home.

After three weeks on my second stay here, I felt like I belonged, almost like a member of the managing family. The people are lovely, selfless and friendly, and they attend to your needs 24/7. It’s close to the airport and shopping malls, with all the necessary shops, convenience stores and pharmacies nearby. The rooms are beautiful, there’s a cosy bar with a fireplace, and the food is excellent. I’m definitely making it my home whenever I’m in Joburg.

I liked staying here. It feels safe and secure, and their shuttle takes you to B&Bs around Kempton Park.
