Oribi Haven

We came for two nights and kept adding another day each time. It felt like home, and was just the place to slow down. Jenny is so warm and caring, and her suggestions were spot on. We loved watching the animals and distant sea from the veranda with a glass of chilled MCC, but there are also beach walks, river swimming and nearby hiking paths. We had such a lovely stay.

Even after our 8th visit, this place still has us enchanted. We’ll be back next year, good health willing. Jen is a brilliant hostess, full of useful information and always ready to go the extra mile. The property works well for self catering, gets excellent daily servicing, and has good WiFi. There are several nearby shops for food. We spend most of our time on the stoep, braaiing, watching animals and birds, or having a glass or two of wine. The views of oribi, bontebok, impala and duiker come with birdsong and the sound of the ocean, and the stars are wonderful on clear nights.

Jenny makes this special place even better. She’s a one of a kind host who really goes out of her way for guests. You won’t regret staying here.

We started our honeymoon here, and it couldn’t have been more memorable. The setting is exquisite, and we could properly switch off and enjoy the quiet and nature around us. An incredible stay.
