A clean, well-organized place at a reasonable price. I’d recommend it for an overnight or weekend stay.

I booked by phone, and checking in was quick and easy when I arrived. The staff member who showed me to my room was friendly and helpful, and the bed was comfortable and relaxing. I had a wonderful stay, thanks for the great service.

We were disappointed by the rooms after booking several rooms and a family suite for a family gathering, drawn by the guest house’s four-star advertisement. At first the modernized old building looked lovely. But the bedroom and toilet were one open space, with no divider or curtain at all. That might suit someone staying alone, but it was very uncomfortable for couples sharing a room. None of us could remember staying somewhere designed that way, and it upset the family. We also weren’t told that the doors would be locked early. When we got back around 21h00, the keys we’d been given opened the front gate but not the door, and the place was locked. We read the reviews then, and were surprised most were positive. One person had mentioned there wasn’t enough bread at breakfast. The next morning we were told there were only a few slices, so not everyone could have toast. The host said there was no cash to buy a loaf from the garage across the road, so we bought one ourselves and deducted it from the bill. A family member asked for two extra eggs, but was told that wasn’t allowed and had to buy another full breakfast instead. The orange juice was off, though it was exchanged for fruit cocktail. Don’t order poached eggs, they don’t know how to make them. The building needs some care and the rooms need cleaning. One room smelled very bad, another had mould on the wall, and algae covered the pool walls, bottom and corners. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re fine with what felt like luxury camping. In my view, the TGCSA should downgrade it to a one-star guest house.

Lovely rooms, kept clean and neat, and the people are kind. I’d recommend this guest house 100%.

My room was on the top floor, so there were stairs to climb. Inside, it had a lovely Aircon and everything I needed for a restful day.
