The whole family was happy at Brenton Haven. The sound of the ocean all night was a lovely lullaby for the kids, and the room was clean, well kept, and spacious. The patio had braai space and a table for family seating, which is SUPER for us South Africans. The sunsets from the way the place is laid out were amazing. The staff were welcoming and really helpful. Manager Jeandre Grobbelaar was especially cool and friendly, and that carried through to his team. Check-in and checkout were easy. The pool was warm after a full beach day, and the gym had what I needed for a quick, good workout. The restaurant food was full of flavour. We parked in the basement. Our daughter loved taking the lift from there to the room, and it seems like a great feature for wheelchair access too. Rad!

The beach is literally on your doorstep, and the views are spectacular. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the whole place has a great vibe. Don't think twice, this place is spectacular!

The setting is gorgeous and the resort has plenty of visual appeal, but the basics let it down badly. Service felt below par, as though management was counting on guests being distracted by the natural beauty instead of noticing. Management needs to step up. Sorry.

We had lovely walks along the beach and the sea views are hard to beat. The apartments were clean and well equipped, and the gym equipment was in good shape too. There’s a great pool and a handy laundry. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, BUTTERFLY BLU, and the coffee and cake at INDIGO DELI.

The rooms, food, views and staff were all excellent, and Jeandre deserves a special mention for the personal attention. He’s friendly, checks that you’re enjoying your stay and really goes the extra mile. He stands out as a people person and a general manager who’s helping the hotel grow. Thank you for the warm, welcoming and professional service you gave me, South African award-winning actress Nazli George, known as Aunty Ivy from 7delaan and currently Ragel in SKEMERGROND. I’ll be back.
