Brenton on Sea Chalets

We spent several nights here and enjoyed them immensely. The whole place was spotless, and the chalets were immaculate and had everything we needed. The hosts and staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Very good value for money, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We spent our honeymoon here and had such a lovely time. Our chalet was perfectly placed for those beautiful sunsets. The reception ladies were sweet and gave us tips on relaxed places to go in the area. This is definitely somewhere I’ll return to for our anniversaries.

The smaller unit was clean, had a nice ocean view and, thankfully, no spiders. But there’s nowhere to wash dishes, and the shower sprays water everywhere, so it’s hard to shower properly. The braaier was uncomfortable to use, especially with no light provided. I wouldn’t really call it self catering.

Everything was close by, though remember that shops shut early. The chalet was neat and clean, and the cleaning staff did their work so quietly you wouldn’t know they’d been in. We couldn’t use the wifi password, and the switches weren’t working. The kitchen would have been better laid out if it were nearer the portable braai.
