You feel at ease here, which is a real luxury these days, and there’s a lovely sense of privacy and safety 💜 The host is attentive, everything is clean and comfortable, and there are lots of thoughtful little extras. Such a beautiful setting, and really underrated. 100/10.

Irena made us feel welcome from the start and was so pleasant and considerate. Our stay was perfect. The place is quiet and well kept, and the apartment had loads of space, two separate rooms, and a lovely balcony for breakfast or an afternoon drink. Highly recommend it.

A lovely, cozy little spot with a nice pool. We skipped swimming and chose one of the nearby beaches instead. In the room there’s a bar fridge, tea bags, rooibos, filter coffee, milk, a kettle, a hair dryer, and adaptors for foreign appliances. Just remember to bring your own toilet roll 😅

The views are superb, and you’re close to everything Knysna has to offer, while the surroundings stay peaceful and beautiful. We had three very happy, comfortable days at Ambiente guest house. Irina was a perfect host, and our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We’d gladly stay again and will keep recommending it.

Irina puts so much care into looking after her guests that you really feel at home. She also knows Knysna well and can point you toward plenty to do, so you won’t run out of things to see if you want to fit it all in. The cottage is clean and cozy, with a pretty garden, pool, and terrace looking out at the mountains. It works just as well for one person, a couple, or a family. Everything in Knysna is nearby by car, and easy to reach by Uber too. We came for a few days and are already thinking about coming back for a few weeks. Loved it ❤️
