The lagoon views from our spacious room were beautiful all day long. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious, and the team even let us check out late. We felt warmly welcomed and looked after the whole time at Sommervreug Guesthouse. A lovely, scenic place to unwind in Knysna.

Jeanine and her staff made sure our needs were met, even sourcing halal meats and preparing the little breakfast treats we asked for. The rooms are modern and clean, and the service is excellent. A brilliant base for exploring Knysna and the surrounding area. Highly recommend staying here.

Christmas here was wonderful, thanks to Jeanine and her team. We caught the lights, had the best pizza in town, lovely beers from the bar, and a heavenly breakfast. Honestly, what more can I say? It was awesome for every occasion. Just go and stay there.

Breakfast with that stunning view over Knysna is such a good way to start the day. The rooms are amazing, with big showers and great water pressure, and the service is really friendly. This is easily the best guest house I've stayed at in Knysna. I've sent a few friends here, and they came away feeling the same. Can't recommend it enough.

The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, and the place was wonderfully peaceful. We especially enjoyed the lake view, one of the best in town. We had a great time and would happily recommend it. We'll be back before too long.
