We were disappointed with our stay at Camp Rainforest Boutique. The rooms were extremely small and had no showers, and we didn't get any assistance from staff over the weekend. They left on Friday and didn't return until Monday to clean up and collect the garbage bags. The pool was dirty, the kitchen had several broken items, and there was no proper dining hall for the kids. The space called a dining hall had poor ventilation and wasn't suitable. They were quick to ask for full payment, but when we called for help, staff sounded agitated and offered no support. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend Camp Rainforest Boutique. This was my first and last time using the venue.

We went as a group of about +-120 Sunday School children, staying from Friday to Monday. On day 2, the electricity went off and nobody explained what was happening. By the morning of day 3, the gas cylinder ran out while we were cooking, and we were asked to pay R360 for a replacement. There was no warm water, so the children had cold showers, and nobody checked whether we were okay. We had to bring everything ourselves as campers; the kitchen only had one gas stove, a fridge and a freezer, with no microwave or kettle. The gate also took a while to open. We won't bring our Sunday School group back or recommend the place.

Unfair treatment. They don't seem to want guests making noise after a certain time, 8pm, so I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. They're very, very bad at keeping good company.

Tall pine trees give this place a forest feel, with shade and a peaceful, restful atmosphere. It's a lovely haven in the middle of Johannesburg's western suburbs.

We stopped in for a meal and had a great time. The vibe was good, and the food felt unique, was well made, and was good value. We'll definitely stop by again 👍
