The sunset from the "stoep" is so peaceful, and the views make it easy to picture yourself on an African farm. Hearing a donkey bulking early in the morning added to that feeling. The Warehouse has plenty of character, and Zelda and her staff make the stay feel special with all the little details. It's close to Johannesburg, so it works for a weekend away or for business travelers tired of stuffy hotels. I'd happily recommend it to any kind of traveler.

There's a lovely rural view here, but city life is still close by. The house has surprises and interesting details everywhere, and its relaxed atmosphere helped me switch off from stress. It feels like a home away from home. The owner and staff have their own distinctive personalities and go out of their way to spoil guests. I recommend this self catering place wholeheartedly.

We loved the views across the mountains, with Blesbok & Springbok grazing right by the bathroom windows. The eclectic decor is beautifully put together, and there are places like Cradle of Humankind ' Caves, Rhino& Lion parks nearby to visit. One of the best selfcatering venues we've stayed at, and a hidden secret in a beautiful area.

You can tell a lot of time and care went into this rustic property. The vintage furniture gives it a great feel, and it's absolutely worth visiting. I know I'll want to come back.
