Frog Song Cottage is a peaceful little haven, and my husband and I have had a wonderful two-night stay. The cottage is lovely inside and out, thoughtfully decorated and full of charm. It’s a great place to slow down, recharge and get away from everyday busyness. The hosts have been incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. They’re in the middle of renovations, which they had mentioned on Booking.com, but still welcomed us into their home with real kindness and made sure we had everything we needed. We’re so grateful for their hospitality and would gladly recommend it.

Pauline, Gerry and their dogs make you feel like you’re visiting your favourite aunt and uncle. We also loved the breakfast in the garden. It’s a perfect base for visiting vineyards such as Bramon and Newstead.

A lovely spot for a weekend getaway, and I’d definitely recommend it. The owners were very welcoming, the gardens are huge, and the location and view are nice. Our room was beautifully decorated, and breakfast was a lovely continental spread.

The hospitality was five-star, and I’d have given it six if that had been an option.
