We felt wonderfully connected to the plains from the private viewing deck in front of our lodge. The accommodation was spacious, beautiful, and luxurious, with nature all around. At Nambiti Plains Lodge, the food was another highlight: meals were delicious and carefully prepared, with wild game often on the menu. Twice a day, we headed out on game drives, with snack and drink stops along the way. Each drive had its own excitement, and we saw lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, rhinos, and hippos, often close by in stunning surroundings. We also added a guided walk, which was thrilling. Hearing a lion roar from less than 100 yards away while we were on foot made our hearts race. From the moment we arrived, the African plains felt full of beauty and magic. This was an unforgettable safari, full of adventure, comfort, and a real sense of place. We'd recommend it wholeheartedly and will cherish it forever.

The stillness of the bush, the wildlife, and the warmth of the staff made time feel like it had slowed down. That feeling is what made Nambiti Plains so magical for me, alongside the luxury and the untouched wilderness. I chose Nambiti Plains Private Game Lodge for our honeymoon in November 2025, and the setting was breathtaking. Every detail felt thoughtful and intimate. The game drives with Johno were extraordinary. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly wanted each drive to feel special. Exploring the reserve with him felt like being inside a live documentary, but much more personal. Watching animals gather at the waterhole in the quiet golden light was peaceful, powerful, and surreal. After each drive, the welcome drinks were refreshing, and the cuisine was beautifully prepared and presented. Every meal was delicious. Celebrating such an important milestone here made the stay even more meaningful. It's a memory that stays with me, and I can't wait to return.

Honestly, we had a great time. The rooms were spotless and well looked after. Even the windows were completely clean, which we hadn't seen at a lodge in ages. The manager, staff, and Johno were so friendly and made us feel at home. The halal food was lovely, and we saw lots of animals too.

It was our first safari, and it was spectacular. We loved every second at Nambiti Plains Lodge, from the rooms and food to the lodge itself and the drives. Jono was a fantastic guide who made each outing special. We'd definitely go again.

The team thought of every detail and kept us comfortable in rooms that were very comfortable and well maintained. The food was great too, and I can't recommend this hotel enough. I hope to return one day. Jono led some incredible game drives, with so many animals to see. When we worried our car might have a flat tire, Cait helped us out. The whole team was thoughtful, and management went out of their way when we had a medical issue that meant going into town. They jumped in to help without hesitation, and we couldn't have managed the situation without them.
