@TheBay Guest Villa

What made @TheBay stand out for me was the welcome from Jors and Ronel. They treated me like an old friend visiting their home, while I got to put my feet up and be thoroughly looked after. Breakfast was fresh and a real feast. The rooms are spotless and roomy enough for a longer stay. You can tell the interiors and outdoor spaces were put together with care and great taste. The building is in excellent shape, and the upper deck has plenty of chairs for taking in the ocean view and those beautiful sunsets with a drink. It’s quiet, yet only about a five-minute walk to the beach, and there’s a small supermarket right across the road for essentials. I usually look for smaller places rather than international chains, and after trying lots of guest houses, this was easily my best choice. Thanks for such a lovely stay. I’ll be back soon.

The friendly, excellent hospitality keeps bringing me back every year. I also love the fresh air and relaxing atmosphere, with the beach and sunny skies right in view. The bedrooms and restrooms are kept clean and tidy.

Since my first visit to @TheBay Guest Villa in 2014, each return has been even more enjoyable. The upper deck is a favourite for its beach view, and the rooms have loads of space. The owners really make an effort to help you feel welcome and special. I’d recommend it for a weekend, a longer weekend, or a holiday away.

The hosts are exceptionally friendly, and the place is so central. Ask them about the area's hidden gems and they'll point you the right way. Between the unreal views and that constant ocean smell, this feels like a home away from home. I’d give it 100 stars if I could, and it’s a must-stay on any trip to the West Coast.
