The staff and owner made me feel completely welcome and at home. I stayed for two weeks, and the beds were super comfortable. The air conditioning kept the rooms nice and cold, which helped me sleep deeply and recover after active days. Breakfast was included, and I ate here almost every day. I sometimes tried other places, but this breakfast was better than the alternatives around the area. I've seen negative reviews, but honestly I can't understand them. The place was perfect. If I had to suggest anything, perhaps a slightly smaller dinner menu would help. I'd also have loved to use the sauna included in the room rate every day, though I understand that may not be practical. A local beer on tap would be nice too. Those are tiny nitpicks. I'll definitely be back.

Windtown Lagoon Hotel is close to the beach, making it a great base for kitesurfing or just chilling. We liked our stay, with spacious, nicely decorated rooms, outstanding pool service and very friendly staff.

Loved it here. The staff, food and surroundings were all lovely, and the beach is close by. Restaurants, shops and everything else are around too.

We only had one night at the Hotel, which was a shame because it was fantastic. Our kids were right next to us in interconnecting rooms, all beautifully decorated and equipped with what we needed. At night the pool lights made everything look magical. The restaurant has a floating fireplace, which I'd never seen before, with a lovely couch in front and games to play. Breakfast was filling and full of flavour, and the beach is just a minute away. We loved our stay and definitely want to return, especially in summer.
