The rooms were spacious, lovely, and clean, and the chef was a star. He made sure we were well fed, and the meals were presented to a high standard. The area outside the lodge wasn't great on the drive in, but inside the gate it felt like a little haven. There was no one at reception when we arrived, though we were shown to our rooms soon after. I had to shuffle plugs around to get the things I needed connected, but it wasn't a major problem.

The scenery is beautiful, and every staff member we met was kind, knowledgeable, and excellent at their job. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and perfectly equipped. The chef made us delicious, comforting meals and served them beautifully. We didn't want to leave, and I'll come back whenever I can. Thank you ❤️

I regret going. The owners were very unfriendly, shouted at guests, and demanded money that wasn't listed on the booking form. The manager was rude, and the staff seemed unsure what they were doing. German shepard dogs were roaming around unleashed. I wouldn't bring my family here.

Worst service I've had. One guy was handling the cooking, reception, and bags, while the place was full of family members and a rude lady in glasses. Getting food was a struggle. The only good interaction was with the garden guy. I can't recommend it.
