The cottage is peaceful, and the rooms are roomy and comfortable. It’s in a complex across the road from the beach, near the main Spar, and only a short drive from Shelly Centre. Just be aware that the beach is quite rocky and has no lifeguards.
Our unit had breathtaking views. We were lucky enough to see some sardines being netted, and there are lots of whales and dolphins to spot during the June and July holiday.
There’s an on-site security guard, and the beach is right across the road. Manaba and Uvongo swimming beaches are also within walking distance. Shopping centres and malls are nearby, along with plenty of fun activities, so it’s easy to find something to do.
When I arrived, they said they had no record of my reservation, even though I showed proof of payment and the booking confirmation. They told me someone else was in the room. I was disgusted by the way we were treated.
We had a great stay in unit C1. It was neat and spacious, with everything we could need, and only a few steps from the ocean.
