We felt completely at ease during our stay, with tight security and a nice, clean swimming pool. The three-bedroom apartment was clean and had a lovely sea view. Lyn is so friendly, and we’ll definitely come back soon.

My family and I had a great time at the beach and around the nearby restaurants, and the parking was great too. But for what we paid, the apartment was disappointing. A lot of the furniture was falling apart, the bathroom taps leaked, and some cupboard doors were coming off their hinges.

The beach view was lovely, but being so central meant the place got far too crowded over the festive season. We went for New Year’s, and the noise and crowds on the beach were just too much. The apartment hadn’t been cleaned properly either. There were empty condom boxes and used condoms under the bed, which was shocking, especially with my infants there. The cleaner only did the surface and left the rest. They could do better.

The furniture is honestly tops, and inside was neat, with spacious parking. But I’ve never stayed anywhere without a balcony before, especially over the December holidays. We felt confined indoors unless we went out. The sliding window or door facing the beach was rusted and sometimes wouldn’t close properly. When it was windy, it kept banging loudly, and nobody told us about the defect. The main bedroom bathroom felt like a prison cell. My husband and I had to leave the room whenever the other used the toilet. Even when you’re married, you still need some privacy and dignity. The toilet flush handle didn’t work, so we had to remove the lid every time. After we paid the deposit, we were told to bring our own TV decoder. We did, but couldn’t get it working, and ended up not using the TV for the whole holiday. Communication options were limited too, with no bedside phones for help or small concerns. You’re just there until you leave. The washing machine in the main bedroom didn’t work at all, and I wondered why it was there. The on-site machines weren’t available on weekends or holidays, with no other provision. What you see is what you get. They need to do more to look after customers and listen to their needs. I’ve stayed in a lot of places, but this experience really disappointed me. From the bottom of my heart, I wouldn’t want to return unless all of this is addressed. Mrs F Nene.
