Kuta Beach Unit 7

The ground floor was great for the kids to play, and the view is beautiful. The place has lots of space, too. Better bedding would make it even nicer, and Bluetooth for the home theater would be a welcome extra. Still no Wi-Fi in 2022, though!

I understand complaints about loud music or drunk guests, but this was just our kids laughing and playing games indoors during the day because the weather was bad. They were in the Christmas holiday spirit, and an older woman from unit 31 complained about the noise. She turned off all her lights, slammed doors, watched us through the windows, and listened to other people's private conversations. She shouted at one of the minors instead of speaking to a parent first, then called security. It was completely uncalled for. If you have young children, especially under seven, please don't come here.

Our stay was really good, and we managed even though the inventory list felt intimidating. The admin side has been a letdown, though. I'm still trying to get my R1 000 deposit back, even after confirming everything was fine. ☹

The unit was nice and clean, but the inventory list made it hard to relax. We even called to ask what we should and shouldn't do. Then, when we were waiting for the breakage deposit, we were told we'd burnt two egg lifters. I asked why there were two and requested a photo, but suddenly it was fine and they said they'd deduct R100 from R1200. They should show all the booking fees upfront, instead of revealing large extra costs after you've paid the deposit. Also, there are no chairs by the pools for sitting and watching the kids swim.
