The service was poor from the start. The caretaker was very unfriendly, the place wasn’t clean, and the sheets and pillows had dirty yellowish marks on them. The room was really small and hot, and there was an off smell throughout. I’ve got more bad things to say, but I’ll leave it there. It was a bad stay. Make this your last option.

I’d choose this place first when I’m in or around the south coast, since it’s close to all the amenities. It’s cosy, really clean, nicely set up, and has a very homey, therapeutic feel.

There’s no air-conditioning in the rooms, the televisions weren’t working, and the electricity kept switching on and off in the middle of the day and night. It was very hot, with lots of mosquitoes. We also waited nearly 30 minutes at the gate, repeatedly calling for someone to let us in. The Reemarose Guest House did a poor job of welcoming us.

It’s a great place to unwind, and I’m definitely coming back. The owner was friendly and always willing to help, and the place was neat and clean. I enjoyed my stay!

We had a wonderful time. The lady treated us so nicely and made us feel special.
