Villa 2516 San Lameer

There's a lot to do within the estate, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is superb for a getaway. The hotel rooms could use some renovation at this point for a four-star hotel, but we still had a lovely experience.

The villa was very comfortable and clean, and the maid was excellent. The whole resort was fantastic, and I'd recommend both the resort and the villa. Load shedding and the water crisis are a big problem, though.

A lovely little one-bedroom apartment. The only downside was that we had no water for over 24 hours during our stay. They need individual tanks at the properties to get through the water stoppages.

San Lameer Villa 2504 is in San Lameer Estate on the South Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, a subtropical setting with wildlife, plants and birds. The 200-hectare nature conservancy has an 18-hole championship golf course, a hotel with a spa, restaurant and bar, luxury villas, and direct access to two magnificent blue flag beaches. There's something for the whole family. The villa sleeps up to six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. The second bedroom has two single beds, and the third has a tri-bunk. The other bathroom has a shower. It's set up for self-catering, with a fully equipped kitchen that includes a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery, plus a breakfast bar with stools. There's dining space for six, and the lounge has a comfy suite and a flat-screen TV with a premium DStv package. The unit is serviced daily except Sundays and public holidays.
