The viewing deck was amazing, and the bushbabies were adorable. We loved the resident male kudu and warty warthogs and will definitely be back. Thanks to Trudy for managing the booking so well, and to Horace, who was fantastic, friendly, gracious, and looked after us incredibly well. It was a beautiful holiday experience.

Giraffes, zebras and other animals often wander right up to the lodge, which sits opposite crocodile rivers. It feels like a genuinely authentic place to stay. Trudy, the owner, is lovely and always available. I had a great time and would highly recommend it.

We spent every minute of the holiday enjoying ourselves, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Trudy was so gracious, thank you, we really appreciated it. The lodge was comfortable, tidy and clean, with everything we needed for self catering. The viewing deck was stunning, and there were so many animals along the river: a leopard hunting impala, lionesses with cubs, elephants, and plenty more. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful too. A lovely spot to unwind and watch the animals from the viewing deck. The neighbours can be a little noisy in the mornings and early evenings, though.
