Mopani Manor

This place is in a terrible state and badly needs repairs and redecorating. Kitchen cupboard doors were hanging off, the washing-up cloths were filthy, and there was dust and dirt in the kitchen. Water was leaking from the air conditioners onto the floors. Furniture with broken legs had been propped up on bricks.

We love this bush getaway. You can feel the warmth and care in the home, and it's a handy base for visiting the Kruger too. We always see different animals while relaxing on the patio.

Mopani Manor was a great place to stay in Marloth Park, definitely worth it. The house was clean, spacious and had a lovely atmosphere. It came with the usual appliances as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and air conditioners. There was no TV, which we were glad about since we'd come to get away from city life and enjoy the outdoors. Warthogs, kudu, mongoose and a bushbaby visited regularly, coming to the back door and letting us feed them by hand. The splash pool was a nice place to cool off after a hot day. We also enjoyed driving around the park early in the morning or late afternoon to look for other wildlife. We saw zebras, giraffes, Springbok and Blouwildebees, and from the drive beside the Crocodile River fence, we spotted Waterbuck and an Elephant in the Kruger National Park.

We had a lovely stay at Mopani Manor. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and we were treated to a good variety of animal sightings. Definitely somewhere worth visiting in Marloth.
