Tusk Bush Lodge

We loved the winter bushveld feel at Tusk Bush Lodge, especially the warthogs and different buck visiting our door every day. Douglas and Wayne made sure we were comfortable throughout. The accommodation was very comfortable too, and having a table set for two in the bungalow was our favourite detail. Just what we hoped for, and highly recommended.

Watching zebras, kudus and warthogs wander past while relaxing by the pool was a highlight, along with all the other animals around. Tusk Bush Lodge gave us a real African bush stay with first-class amenities and service. We chose it for the quiet, beautiful Marloth Park setting near Kruger National Park, and our private bungalow was good value. The staff were thoughtful and kind, with personal attention, and they arranged our Kruger safari and airport transfers. Douglas, the manager, was accommodating and knowledgeable. His guide experience meant we learned lots about the bush and its animals. We also enjoyed the varied flavours in the three-course dinners each night. The whole Tusk Bush Lodge team helped make our trip amazing. Thanks, guys. We’ll be back next year!

Gift and Douglas make a great team, and the staff were excellent. I loved the food, the company of the other guests and the whole experience. Every moment was a pleasure. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty to do.

We were warmly welcomed, and the service was the best part of a fantastic stay. The team seemed to anticipate our wishes, and Doug helped arrange Krüger tours and shared great recommendations. The place was cozy and very clean, and we enjoyed the delicious food. We also loved seeing zebras, impalas and other animals around the hotel grounds. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
