Blyde Canyon, A Forever Resort

We stayed on the camping grounds from 29/12/2025 - 04/01/2026, and there was plenty to do, with lots of nearby attractions to visit. The resort is run really well, and I was impressed by both the service and the facilities. Thanks, Blyde Canyon Forever Resort, for welcoming us and making it such a great stay. I'd happily visit again and recommend it. ❤️

Priscilla served us lunch at Kadisi restaurant, and she was excellent. The food was divine. We had first visited the lookout point and the Tufa waterfall, with a beautiful trail along the way. The resort was clean too, and I'd come back for a holiday stay.

The camping grounds could use paving. Most sites have no grass, so when it rains the ground gets muddy and messy. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. When we needed an axe to cut firewood, reception contacted the maintenance team for us. One staff member even helped put up our tent when rain looked close. The Christmas lunch was delicious, too. My family and friends felt safe at the two beautiful pools, one for small kids and one for adults. A security guard and life saver diving team were there throughout the pool's open period, and guards kept patrolling the camping area.

The camping sites are amazing, and the facilities are great, including washing machines and tumble driers. Reception staff were awesome, so I'd have given the stay five stars if not for the cleaning staff. They arrived at 8:00 and sat outside the bathrooms talking together and looking at their phones. The bathroom floors were muddy from people who'd left earlier. When I went to shower at 9:00, I told the cleaning lady the shower was dirty and asked if there was a mop. She pointed to the one beside her for me to use, which I did, but I was very surprised. She stayed on her phone. Very disappointing. Otherwise, excellent.
