With an enclosed garden that’s safe for pets, we could relax without worrying about them. The cottage is at the end of the road, so there’s no traffic noise, just sounds from nature, and the mountain views from outside are stunning. Such a peaceful gem. Loved it and will definitely come back.
There’s a main house with one bedroom and bathroom, a great kitchen, and a lounge with a huge fireplace and a double sleeper. Outside, a wooden cottage sleeps two. The enclosed back garden has an indigenous garden, plus a lovely spot for entertaining and braaiing. It’s a cute, well-equipped cottage that welcomes dogs. We’d come back.
We’ll book plum tree cottage again, this time for longer. It was such a lovely, cosy place, and had everything we could possibly need. The back garden is fully enclosed, so our little fur kids could explore off lead while we braaied and enjoyed wine on the patio without worrying. The only thing we didn’t like was the taste of the water, but a quick trip to the local shop sorted that out. Absolutely loved it!
A nice, well-equipped spot for getting away from the city. The dogs all over town bark at night, though. Have enough beer or wine on hand to sleep through it.
