The peaceful surroundings and cozy feel made this a lovely place to get away from the usual rush. Die Ou Winkeltjie has charming decor, and the personal service was outstanding throughout my stay. I found it warm and comfortable, with plenty of character, and would happily recommend it as a retreat in Merweville.

I really enjoyed my stay and would come back. The kitchen had everything I needed, and I liked the signs in the lounge. Bryan was especially thoughtful, even letting me store my bicycle inside the cottage so I could stay comfortable.

The owner was friendly and we had a great chat, but they also gave us space whenever we wanted privacy. The accommodation itself was beautiful, neat, and clean.

We came back for a second visit, and the sunsets and stargazing were amazing. Brain was a wonderful host, and the accommodation was very clean. Our two-bed unit was comfortable too.

Thank you, we really appreciate the cleanliness, spaciousness, and hospitality. It’s the best place to overnight on a circular drive from Prince Albert to Calvinia, Loeriesfotein, Brandvei, Williston, and back to Frazerburg.
