I was in Middleburg for the weekend to do the Loskop 50km race, and my first stay at the Blue Sparrow was a memorable one. Ria, the owner, and Karabo greeted me warmly and were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They made me feel at home right away. Karabo was especially kind, and I really appreciated it. Thanks, Karabo, and the special staff at Blue Sparrow Guest House. I had a pleasurable stay, would certainly return, and would recommend them to others.

A big shoutout to Mavis M! She’s kind, passionate, and takes real pride in her work. My room was always fresh, spotless, and beautifully prepared, and her warm, positive spirit really makes a difference. Staff like her are a real asset. Blue Sparrow Guest House was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and I had a wonderful stay. Thanks for the great service and dedication!

The room was spacious and clean, and Mavis was friendly and helpful, making sure it stayed spotless. The receptionist was a pleasant, helpful guy, and the rest of the staff were friendly too. Blue Sparrow Guest House is exceptionally good, clean throughout, and looks like a 5 star establishment. I love everything about it. The food could improve, though. They should always include at least one green vegetable, especially at dinner.

Karabo deserves special mention for going out of his way to meet my needs. The host was friendly, and this is a lovely guest house, suited to groups and families, which seems to be its main focus. That does mean there can be noise late into the night.

I felt safe during my business trip, and I was really happy with this guest house. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, close to amenities, and the people are friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and the staff very professional. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Keep up the warm hospitality!
