Ipe Tombe Guest Lodge

It had been a while since I was last at Ipe Tombe Guest Lodge, but it’s still just as lovely. My daughter, my mom and I had such an enjoyable visit, and we can’t wait to come back. The rooms feel comfortable and homey, the gardens are gorgeous, and Pat and her team are as attentive and friendly as ever. Yvonne deserves a special mention for always having a smile.

Lovely meals, a beautiful setting, and staff who were both friendly and efficient made this a great stay. It was very good value for money, and I’d definitely stay again.

The bird life is magical, and there’s a spacious area where our WWXTRi team could relax together. The rooms were very quiet, and the location is nicely central with easy highway access. Pat and her team made us feel at home, and Chris the chef cooked delicious meals. We had an incredible stay and can’t wait to return.

I stayed here for two weeks while working remotely, and it worked really well. The rooms are spacious, with air conditioning, clean linen, firm comfortable beds and daily housekeeping. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious each day. Pat, the owner, and the team were welcoming and professional, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The gardens are magnificent and peaceful. It’s a quiet location, though a little far out on the Midrand side. There’s a generator for load-shedding, but it wasn’t always on. I highly recommend this guest house. I’ve lived in many establishments, and the hospitality here was amazing.
